Pinkies up! Dress up and join us for high tea at the George Barrett Cement House Museum! All are welcome!
Guests will enjoy sweet treats, finger sandwiches, a guided tea tasting led by Lindsay Hastings from Green Feather Apothecary and stroll through the museum's latest vintage textiles and clothing exhibit.
And speaking of clothing...hats are encouraged! You can rent a vintage hat for the event for 5 $ at the door.
Your ticket supports the museum and the building fund drive.
Trick or Treat and Halloweenie Roast
Halloween in Spring Valley is legendary! Join the village if you dare for Trick or Treating from 6-7:30 PM and stick around in Bledsoe Park for costume contest and Halloweenie Roast put on by A.C.T.S. !
Spring Valley ACTS Appreciation Dinner
Join us at “Ancel’s Place” on Roxanne New Burlington Rd. for this years ACTS Volunteer appreciation dinner Sunday, October 22, from 5 PM to 7:30. ACTS provides the meats and place settings and asks that those coming bring a covered dish or a dessert. It is a great time to mingle with fellow volunteers and neighbors. ACTS has its annual meeting at the dinner followed by door prizes, raffles and maybe some live entertainment.

Book Sale News: We are now accepting books to be donated for our annual fundraiser. You can drop off during library hours or leave at the back door of library building anytime. All procees of our book sale help to keep the library open to service our community.
24th Annual Tater Trot 5k walk/run
24th Annual Tater trot 5k walk/run at the 46th Annual Spring Valley Potato Festival. Registration day of and packet pick up starts at 7 AM. Race at 8 AM from Walton Park through Historic Spring Valley.

Faler & Schmidt will be hosting:
“Paws 4 Pottery” on the Pavilion!
10am-3pm.
Bledsoe Park Main St. (Across from Post Office)
Bring your fury (leashed & friendly) family member up on stage to participate in their very own Paw Printing!
$20 gets you a memorable round, white clay, placard, with your pets paw print and name, as well as the option to add a hole for hanging.
Faler & Schmidt will then add a clear glaze and fire your piece in their kiln!
-Pickup when finished at the next Spring Valley Market Day.
Afterwards - walk your pet around and shop all of our local Vendors Both in the park as well as across the street inside Hensley’s!
